• How long does a typical WhatsApp automation MVP take?+

  Three to four weeks for a focused MVP — webhook handling, conversation state store, two to three approved message templates, and a small set of conversational flows. Larger builds that integrate with multiple backend systems run six to eight weeks.

• Do I need WhatsApp Business verified before we start?+

  Eventually yes, but it does not block the build. We can develop against a test WhatsApp Business Account while your business verification with Meta runs in parallel — verification typically takes a few business days and can run concurrently with development.

• Can WhatsApp handle payments?+

  In South Africa, WhatsApp payments aren't fully launched yet. We handle the payment step via a secure short web view — typically Stripe or Yoco — that the WhatsApp flow links the customer to. The customer pays via the web view and the confirmation lands back in WhatsApp.

• What does it cost to run a WhatsApp bot per month?+

  Meta charges per conversation, with pricing that varies by user country. For South African user conversations, the per-conversation cost is in the range of low single-digit US cents. We model the per-customer cost in the discovery brief so you can size budget correctly before launch.
